SHORELINE MAINTENANCE REGISTER — EXCEPTION 4(c)
Tidal infrastructure under the Office's care remains operable and accessible during any closure or works.
Entry: Gull Channel sluice.
Location: channel mouth, between SM-11 (north bank) and SM-12 (south bank).
Control: CM-2, painted iron post, south bank, twelve paces west of SM-12.
Schedule: gate to be raised at each inspection and left raised unless an order specifies otherwise. Order 14-0231 does not specify.
Keys: Counter 2.
That's SM-10, on the survey. Exception 4(c) names CM-2 and says what it controls.
The keys are at Counter 2. CM-2 is where the keys go. Read the entry's 'Location' and 'Control' lines.
Recorded. The Office's own register puts the channel between SM-11 and SM-12, puts the control on the south bank, and requires the gate raised unless an order says otherwise. Order 14-0231 says nothing about the gate. Lara has what she needs; take it back to Station 07.
